The Destination

1. Culture Vultures

For hundreds, in some cases, thousands of years, others have stood at the same spots and been touched by the same emotions. The connection to a country’s cultural heritage holds a powerful attraction for many tourists and travelers.

  • Barcelona reveals its strong artistic culture through modernista architecture, grand concert halls, and an infectious cosmopolitan flair. Discover golden beaches, witness astounding buildings, taste Catalan cuisine, and embrace the endless opportunities this city has to offer. You’ll find it impossible to miss the incredible structure of the Sagrada Familia, as your eyes trace the Barcelona skyline. This 170 metre high UNESCO World Heritage Site stands proudly as a figure of architect Antoni Gaudi’s dedication, and a symbol of Barcelona’s rich Catholic heritage.

  • Prague is a city rich in history and cultural heritage, and it can be seen everywhere you go. From the statue of the Infant Jesus in its shrine, to the Old Town Square, which has had few changes since its construction in the 10th Century, and the fully-functional 15th Century Astronomical Clock, there’s sights to see from throughout Prague’s past.

  • New York City has been described as the cultural capital of the world. The most physically-imposing of New York’s cultural sites is the Empire State Building, but as a busy and dense American city, the Big Apple is steeped in culture.  Every corner of the world is packed into the Big Apple’s five boroughs, from vibrant enclaves such as Little Guyana in Queens and midtown’s Koreatown to lower Manhattan’s bustling Chinatown and Little Italy. The city wears its history of welcoming outsiders with pride. The Tenement Museum, on Manhattan’s Lower East Side, brings the stories of New York’s immigrant communities to life, while Ellis Island and the iconic Statue of Liberty are enduring reminders of the freedom and opportunity America represents for exiles.

2. Shopaholics
For shopaholics, the world is your playground. Whether you’re in need for a little or a lot of retail therapy, shopping activity is simply an inseparable part of any traveling experience.

While your shopping preferences might differ, I have rounded up 3 of the best shopping destinations in the world that is going to be the highlight of your vacation

  • New York  is seen as the best shopping destination when in United States, This city provides plenty of "playgrounds" for shopaholic. From chic boutiques to hipster flea markets to world-famous department stores, NYC has got it all.

  • Tokyo is famous for its respectable department stores and global chain stores with highly personalized service. Expect shopping consultants speaking your language to elevate your shopping experience while you browse from the latest apparel, electronics to all types of food and desserts. Many has claimed that shopping in Tokyo is not as expensive as it’s rated as Asia’s fourth-cheapest shopping. Tempting right?

  • Milan, Italy: Another world-class shopping destination for fashionistas, Milan is home to one of the world’s oldest shopping malls. The Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, became official in 1867. Although the interior surfaces of the galleria were restored in 2014 and 2015, you can still marvel at the original ceilings made of wrought iron and glass, and at the overall architecture.

3. Romantics

There are some places, that just make us want to fall in love. Almost anyone will say, that there’s a certain romance at being near the ocean. And there are plenty of places to make those sunset beach strolls happen.  Take for instance,  the South Pacific island of Bora Bora, where thatch-roofed bungalows set on stilts over turquoise-blue water, and where the powdery sand seems to stretch forever.

Maybe your would prefer the rolling hills and fragrant vines of wine country. California’s Napa Valley, for instance, is a honeymoon favorite for some very real reasons, intimate hotels, superb restaurants, and world-class Cabernets among them.

So, what is your ? Is it sandy beaches or sleepy little mountain villages? Is it the warmth of the sun, or the warmth of a big fire place that sparks your romantic nature?

  • Paris: Traditionally the city of romance, Paris’ most famous attractions are the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre. But visitors should also be sure to visit the Arc de Triomphe at the western end of the Champs-Élysées, the Notre Dame Cathedral which inspired the Victor Hugo story and the Disney film, as well as exploring the tantalizing dining options across the city.

  • Kauai Brilliant sunsets, pristine beaches, aquamarine skies makes Kauai a top pick for romance. The oldest island in the Hawaiian island chain doesn't resort to over-the-top luxury or tourist traps to entice visitors; instead, it appeals more to the simple type. If you prefer rural quietness, where less is more. Kauai is your island!  There are only two major highways on the island and some of the island can only be explored on foot or ATV.
